Munich, November 2021
"Krimidinner", the new crime scene of the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation, takes you back in time, to England in 1924. On Christmas Eve of all things, the butler at the English country estate Beckford Hall was poisoned. Poisoned? That doesn't seem so be certain any longer. The story leads in the best Agathe Christie manner through an amusing round of lies, tears and curiosities, everyone is suspected, everyone accuses everyone, circumstantial evidence disappears and reappears and the end is good for some surprises. The proven crime scene commissioners Batic and Leitmyr are challenged as "Constable Partridge" and "Chief Inspector Lightmyer" by a crime game to which their colleague Kalli Hammermann invited them. A nice mess.
The shooting took place in Munich and in the Oettingen Residenzschloss in the Donau-Ries district in November 2021. The planned broadcast date is Christmas 2022.
Content: Batic (Miroslav Nemec) and Leitmayr (Udo Wachtveitl) have asked Kalli (Ferdinand Hofer) to take part in a crime dinner with a few colleagues - and now they are supposed to be the murderer as "Constable Partridge" and "Chief Inspector Lightmyer" find in an English mansion:
England, 1924. Ironically, on Christmas Eve there was a murder in Beckford Hall. The butler lies dead on the oriental carpet. Partridge and Lightmyer must turn the mansion upside down and find the killer. Was it the feisty Lady of Cumberledge, the beguiling singer Kitty Quail or the prudish Reverend Edgar Teal? The chambermaid Heather or the always drunk socialist Doctor Mallard? The deeper Partridge and Lightmyer penetrate the web of secrets and lies that surround Beckford Hall, the more they merge with their roles - and the more they understand: at this dinner they are playing a double game.
A crime scene under the mistletoe, a British-Bavarian Christmas miracle Whodunit.
Playing Udo Wachtveitl, Miroslav Nemec, Ferdinand Hofer, Sunnyi Melles, Alexander Hörbe, Joshua Seelenbinder, Katharina Schlothauer, Marie Ratscheck, Christoph Mory

Voice to skull, Transcranial magnetic stimulation, microchips implanted in the brain - the new crime scene of the NDR is full of military technology. But what makes a former Bundeswehr captain kill his wife? Voices in the head, as he claims? "This is your ride" answers the helpful MAD man Neumann.
The new case of Göttingen commissioners Lindholm and Schmitz, played by Maria Furtwängler and Florence Kasumba, leads to Mali in Africa. A Bundeswehr operation there ended in a disaster with six deaths. The said federal captain was one of four survivors, but you can no longer ask him. Anais shot him when he put a knife on Charlotte's neck. Two other suicides were committed by the other survivors. And the last survivor Susanna Bortner - played by Katharina Schlotauer - is in a wheelchair.
